Organizational excellence of BSPC:

Modern developments and the increasing tendency to scientific and knowledge-based management in organizations have necessitated the use of knowledge-based, standardized, and generally accepted methods for organizational success.

Considering the role of the petrochemical industry in economic and social growth and prosperity, completion of the value chain of complementary products, creation of added value for natural resources, it is absolutely necessary to pay attention to all stakeholders in order to maintain and improve economic and social conditions.

Our aspiration to become the Iran’s top aromatic company is derived from the EFQM model of organizational excellence. This model allows organizations to perform evaluations based on predefined criteria, identify their weaknesses and strengths, and take actions to modify and revise processes and improve performance. Therefore, we can realize our aspiration, i.e. become the Iran’s top aromatic company, by comparing our company with the leading companies in terms of the key organizational indicators in all areas.

Self-evaluation based on excellence criteria, correct identification of strengths, and prioritization and proper implementation of projects can complete the improvement cycle, cause satisfaction of all stakeholders, and ensure sustainable development for the company. BSPC has been applying the excellence model, identifying the weaknesses and strengths, and taking advantage of the fruits from the implementation of improvement projects since 2007. This indicates that all managers/directors and employees at this company are doing their best to achieve these goals.

In the First National Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award Ceremony held by the National Petrochemical Company in 2010, BSPC was honored to receive Excellence Achievement Award.

BSPC has defined and planned improvement projects related to each of the excellence criteria and managed to slowly progress towards its organizational aspiration in this area by establishing organizational excellence teams in leadership, strategy, resources and partners, processes, and society areas; encouraging the employees, as the most valuable human capital of the organization; and benefiting from the results and improvement opportunities provided on the feedback report of Excellence Achievement Award. BSPC has been also awarded a five-star letter of appreciation in 2014 and a crystal statue in 2015 by the secretary of the Fifth Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award Ceremony.
